Marvel's "Agent Carter" TV Series

Marvel announced previously this year that we would be getting a "Agent Carter" television series, featuring the character Peggy Carter, who was last seen in the movie, Captain America: The First Avenger. 

Now, not only are we getting the TV series, but we're also getting a two hour long premiere episode! Essentially, an entire Agent Carter movie! The series as a whole will consist of seven episodes. The two hour premiere will air on Tuesday, January 6, at 8:00 Eastern Time, on ABC.

Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Agent Carter in the series, a character whom she previously portrayed in Captain America: The First Avenger. Other character from the Captain America movie are also appearing in the series, including Howard Stark, father of Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man.

The series will take place after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger (Around 1946 or so.), and will be a brand new story, focusing on Peggy Carter's career after World War Two.

I expect the series to be absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait to watch it.
