Age of Ultron

As some of you may already know, the long anticipated trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was leaked just the other day. I watched the trailer, and I was absolutely blown away.

So from what I gathered from the trailer, I think a better title would be "Avengers: Tony Screws Up Big Time". It's obvious from the footage shown in the trailer that Tony Stark created Ultron, and none of the other Avengers are exactly thrilled by this. This origin for the character of Ultron is somewhat different from his original origin shown in the comics, in which he is created by Henry Pym, AKA Ant-Man, not Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man.

Also seen in the trailer are the Maximoff twins, Wanda and Pietro, better know by their aliases, Scarlet Witch (Wanda), and Quicksilver (Pietro). I'm very interested to see how Marvel will fit them into the continuity of the Avengers films.

The movie looks like it will be absolutely epic, for lack of a better word. Shots of destroyed city streets and what appears to be a drained ocean are seen in the trailer, as well as what appears to be fight between Hulk and Iron Man, perhaps over Tony's role in the creation of Ultron? The ruins of an abandoned castle-like building are seen many times during the trailer, and it appears to be the location for a fairly large fight scene against Ultron. Also spotted during the trailer was Black Widow riding a motorcycle with Captain America's shield, leaving questions to why she would have his shield. Captain America's shield is also seen shattered near the end of the trailer.

The music playing during the trailer is a cover of "No Strings On Me" from Pinocchio, which Ultron appears to be referencing throughout the trailer.

The trailer leaves many questions unanswered, but insures that the movie will be a worthy sequel to the original Avengers film.
