The Tale of Canadian Superman

Just imagine for a second... What if little Kal-El had crash-landed in Canada instead of Kansas? How different would the DC universe be?

Baby Kal-El's tiny vessel rockets away from his dying planet, on a course to the distant planet of Earth. Somewhere along his journey, a stray meteorite bumps his fragile craft. Instead of landing on the Kent homestead in rural Kansas, he lands in the darkest regions of Canada, on a small maple farm. The farm is owned by Jean Le Kent, and his wife Marie Le Kent. Jean and Marie have never been able to have children of their own, and are overjoyed upon finding a infant boy sitting inside the ruins of a spaceship on their land. They are however less overjoyed when they find out the boy's ship has crashed into their finest maple tree, and completely destroyed it.

The boy is given the name Claude Le Kent, and grows up on the maple farm, being raised as a son by Jean and Marie. He encounters many friends during his childhood, such as Lana d'Lang, his high school crush, and Leroux Luthor, who he will later encounter, but not as a friend. During his teenage years he becomes highly successful on his school hockey team, and discovers he has some special abilities... Faster than a speeding hockey puck! More powerful than a stampeding herd of moose! Look! Up in the sky! It's Supérieurhomme donning a costume sewn from his old blankets, found among the wreckage of the craft he traveled to earth in, he decides to use his powers to fight for truth, justice, and the Canadian way!

Upon his graduation from high school, Claude moves to the nearest city, Métropole, and gets a job as
a reporter at "le Quotidien Planète", the city's newspaper. During his time at the newspaper, he
meets Louisa Voie, the paper's star reporter, and they begin a relationship. He continues his
costumed career after moving to the city, and reencounters his old childhood friend, Leroux
Luthor, who now is constantly making evil plans to take over the entire maple syrup industry.
He fights numerous battles against Luthor, and many other villainous evildoers, to keep his
home country of Canada safe.

This is all a story created by me, and is in no way affiliated with DC Comics, although the
original versions of all characters belong to DC Comics.
